Over the weekend, the @vectorlights turned red and the @skytower_nz became the “world’s tallest poppy” in honour of Poppy Day. ❤️ Poppy Day is New Zealand’s annual day of remembrance and fundraising, marking over 100 years of supporting veterans and their whānau. It’s a time to honour the service and sacrifice of our armed forces, with funds going towards vital welfare support. You can donate on rsa.org.nz.
This past week brought a real mix of weather for our students completing their @dukeofednz journeys. Luckily, a big part of the experience is learning to adapt - staying open to change and tackling whatever comes your way with a positive attitude.
Alongside their kayaking, they got stuck into hiking, coasteering, and some seriously impressive camp cooking.
Massive credit to all the students for getting after it and making the most of the experience!
Gorgeous views on day 1 of our 3-day Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Hiking Journey - exploring Rangitoto and Motutapu. Good on these girls for getting after it.
A beautiful few days in the bush with some friends from @kaiparacollege. Congrats to these students for completing their 3-day @dukeofednz Hiking Journey.
If you (or someone you know) are working towards @dukeofednz and haven’t locked in a journey yet — check out our Sail & Kayak trip with @nzsailingtrust
2 nights sailing, 2 nights kayaking. A solid week on the water.
