Coromandel

Coromandel

Last Sunday we did a day trip to Coromandel, which is one of New Zealand’s most popular holiday destinations on the North Island. We started our trip from Auckland by car but it’s also possible to go there by ferry.

We started at about 5 o’clock to get to the Hot Water Beach on time, and on time is low tide. You can rent a shovel and start digging your own spa. After this little workout you are able to enjoy your time at the beach, sitting in a warm bubbling pool.

After a very short drive we started our walk in the beautiful nature of Coromandel down to the Cathedral Cove, which is also is must visit on the coromandel.

Walking down the track you can enjoy many beautiful views and a couple of great bays to stop. When you get to the Cathedral cove you can relax on the beach or take a swim in the real blue water. It is a real magical and stunning place you should definitely visit!
