Kayaking to Browns Island / Motukorea is a fantastic day out on the water. It is rich in European and Maori history and was one of the first European land deals done in the Auckland Region.
Paddling distance to Browns Island / Motukorea is 5.5km from St Heliers and there are some beautiful beaches to stop off along the way.
Kayaking to Browns Island / Motukorea is highly recommended and also a prefect trip for the whole family.
Students on the 5 day sail and kayak programme with @aucklandseakayaks and @nz_sailingtrust are having a blast this week. They`ve had some sparkly mornings, epic sea caves, great campsites and an abundance of wildlife. Learning some great life skills while having the adventure of a lifetime.
