Rangitoto Kayak day tour: A great kayak tour

Rangitoto Kayak day tour: A great kayak tour

Last week I kayaked to Rangitoto for the first time. Below are my thoughts on why I think this is an Auckland Must Do!
A kayak trip to Rangitoto is a perfect chance to see the landmark of the Auckland region and the city from another perspective.
Rangitoto is the largest and youngest of Auckland`s volcanoes, so it is a must-do experience when you are in New Zealand.

A kayak trip is one of the best possibilities to get there and also a great adventure. On the way you may get to see wildlife such as Little Blue Penguins and Cooks Petrels.

On arrival at Rangitoto island, we are going to do the short trek to the summit, while our guides tell you a bit more about the history of the region.
When you reach the summit of the island you will be rewarded with a great outlook.

Of course when you get back to the kayaks you can enjoy a great lunch or even a little swim in the sea, if the weather is good.
After our meal we start the way back to St Heliers Bay, Auckland.
You will definitely have an exciting and awesome day, of which you will probably think of for a long time.
