Summer kayaking in Auckland, New Zealand

Summer has arrived in Auckland, New Zealand. After a slightly windier spring the wind has died off leaving us with some stunning days.

Today it’s a nice 26 degrees which is a perfect temperature for kayaking and getting out onto the harbour.

Auckland has a warm-temperate climate, with warm, humid summers and mild winters. It is the warmest main centre of New Zealand and is also one of the sunniest, with an average of 2060 sunshine hours per annum.

So if you live in Auckland or just visiting, a sea kayak trip on the Waitemata Harbour is the best way to enjoy the weather and what the city has to offer.

We hope to see you on the water in the near future,

Happy paddling,

Nic, Logan, Daniel and Chris
